I have seen kits for sale that are $49.00 and higher, but you can make your own kit for much less using supplies you may already have at home. My mom made mine by buying a cute vintage looking box from Ross for less than $10 and filled it with the following:

Aspirin, Sewing Kit, Safety Pins, Nail File, Kleenex, Mints/Gum, Compact Mirror, Clear Nail Polish, Band-Aids, Band-Aid Blister Blocker, Bobby Pins, Visine, Hair Spray, Deoderant, Tide Stain Remover Pen and Double Stick Tape.

We ended up using only a few of the items, but we had a VERY small wedding party (just a Maid of Honor and Best Man) so no real emergencies, thank goodness! But I was glad we had everything “just in case”!

Planning a wedding can be VERY stressful. A friend of mine (thanks Michelle) sent me this stress relieving option: Sarah’s Smash Shack. At Sarah’s Smash Shack, you pay to get dressed up in a jumpsuit, gloves and helmet and just break stuff! You can even play your own music on an mp3 player while you get all of your frustrations out! There are several packages but the “Smash Shack House Special” option is a 15 minute session with 15 plates to break and you can purchase additional items to break as well such as glasses, frames and more. I am going to have to try this out and I already have my first song picked out..Break Stuff, by Limp Bizqit….ha ha.

Much cuter than the veil with condom’s all over it we made our best friends wear out back in the day! They even have a matching tee for your doggie too! CuTe!

I came across a fabulous label website today and am seriously thinking of an excuse to make labels for something…anything! As you may or may not know, I love anything customized and if you add my name to it, I have to have it! Check out www.myownlabels.com. You can make your own wedding labels, favor tags, coasters, note cards and place cards. You can make labels for just about anything! Oh, and as if that isn’t enough in itself, they have a TON of custom and diy favor ideas to help you create the PERFECT custom wedding favors. Love it!!!

I just found out that you can submit your own photos and make custom MyJones Soda bottles! How fun is that? I LOVE anything than you can customize with your own personal photos, labels, etc. SO I had to submit the cutest picture ever of a dog that we came across on our wedding day. We are both HUGE animal lovers so of course, had to take a pic with him! Both photos are by my photographer Sean Schofield.
