Online Invites…What do you think?
Ok ladies, I recently had a bride on the Bridal Inquirer Forum ask what we thought about sending evites or online invitations for her wedding. I personally suggested doing an evite for any of the pre-parties, especially if they are going to be semi-casual affairs. As luck would have it, I recently came across an article about Pingg.com in my Modern Bride magazine (yes, I still look through bride magazines…always looking for blog inspiration)! Pingg allows you to either upload your own photo or borrow one of their many designs and create your invitation, which you can also have them print, stamp and mail for you! Pingg also allows you to add photos, youTube videos, Google maps, guest list details, charity/gift registries, an extended message, even a news feed to give guests the up-to-the-minute status on all event details! I especially love that you can create your own PayPal Event Fund (a la honeymoon or newlywed home fund) if you so desire.
