Bridalplasty is a show about brides who are competing to win their dream wedding which includes a complete makeover including plastic surgery. I admit, I LOVE a good makeover show. I mean I was glued to the TV watching The Swan and Extreme Makeover. Don’t get me wrong, I do not think plastic surgery is necessary to make you beautiful. And I was shocked when 20-somethings were getting fillers?!?! But I have to say, I was not impressed with this show. Unfortunately, I felt like I was watching a show that amateurs taped in their parents backyard and even Shanna Moakler (who I loved on her reality show Meet the Barkers) couldn’t keep my interest. I know when I was a bride, I would watch ANYTHING that had to do with weddings, but even then…I think I would have passed on this one. What did you think? Will you continue watching Bridalplasty?

I came across this adorable video over on the Story Board Brides blog. I’m guessing that Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” was probably 2009’s top wedding song. This little guy would have been a hit at any wedding! Cute!

So…I just made the terrible mistake of passing by the dreaded magnified mirror in our hotel. BIG MISTAKE. Ladies, just do your self a favor and restrain from looking. My poor skin is in need of some serious TLC so I NEED your help! I currently use Proactive but am considering switching to Philosophy skin products. For some reason at 3…let’s just say 30-ish, my skin has decided to go crazzzzzy. I am thankful that for some reason during the stress of planning my wedding, my face was clear. That being said, I am not so stoked on having more acne now than I did as a teenager! So, any Philosophy fans out there??? I am also considering using a primer. Has anyone tried the Philosophy “the present” primer? I really want to try it out too! I would LOVE any feedback. TYIA!

As you may or may not know, I recently got my first mac! And now that I got it, I NEED NEED NEED or maybe its WANT WANT WANT the Microsoft Office 2008 for macs! Which means…only five days until my birthday {hint…hint}! So for you, I found this super fun treat from the FABULOUS Hostess with the Mostess blog {another one of my faves}! YUM!

Margarita Popsicles

Ingredients: 
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons tequila
2 tablespoons orange liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
Kosher salt, for garnish

Special Equipment: 
4 small cups (recommended: Dixie), 4 popsicle sticks

Directions: 
Combine sugar, lime juice, water, lemon juice and orange juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cool transfer to a blender with tequila, orange liqueur, and lime wedge and process until smooth. Pour into the cups and cover the top of each cup with foil. Place the popsicle stick in center of cup (down through foil, which will hold it in place). Freeze until hard, preferably overnight. Remove from freezer and run cup under warm water to loosen popsicle. Garnish with kosher salt and serve. Enjoy!

Ok, I admit it…I am totally addicted to The Hills!!!  Although “Speidi” annoys me most of the time, I can’t wait to see more of their wedding pics! Heidi’s dress is gorge!!! Congrats to the happy couple!

1. Are you sick of The Bachelor yet? Last I heard, he was embarking on his “apology tour”! If you ask me, Jason and Molly deserve each other! I wouldn’t do well being 2nd choice, but I guess neither of them see it that way. Read here, to hear the latest on who should get to keep the ring (Melissa or Jason). I have a feeling it is in the contract that either Neil Lane or ABC gets it back if the marriage doesn’t happen. I have to admit though, I cannot wait to see Jillian on the Bachelorette! Comments?
